September 10, 1930 — February 3, 2016

Betty Jean Webb Salmon
Together  Again

Surrounded by her loving family at home, our sweet mom joined our dad in Heaven on February 3, 2016.  Heaven is a whole lot sweeter now that she is there. She was born in Logan, Utah September 10, 1930 to George James Webb and Vivian Rawlins Webb. She married Eugene Maxwell Salmon June 3, 1949 in the Salt Lake Temple. Within their West Bountiful home she created. "A bit of heaven on earth." She was a patient, faithful wife, and mother of eight children. She always had a welcoming hug and a kiss to all she so graciously hosted. She had a wonderful sense of humor and was a joy to be around. You always felt a little better when you left, than when you arrived. Betty was adored by her family, friends, and especially her many grandchildren. She had a special relationship with her 3 sisters and one  brother. She was an active member of the LDS church where she served in many callings including, President of the Primary, Young Women, and Relief Society.  She also served in the Stake Relief Society Presidency , a Teacher, Achievement Days Leader and a Visiting Teacher. She was preceded in death by: Her husband, parents, Sisters: Lona Schulthies and Judy Pack.

Survived by, her sister Joyce Arbuckle, brother Bill Webb (Shirley), her 8 children, Ricki Ann DeWaal (Lagrand), Brad Eugene Salmon (Marian), Shelley Mills (Russell), Craig Webb Salmon (Terry), Heidi Jill Shupe (Grant), Janny Simonsen (Fred), Mindy Thomas (Matthew), and Tina Marie Burningham (Todd), 40 Grandchildren, 73 Great Grandchildren with 8 more on the way.
