Betty Lou Anderson

Bountiful, UT. Betty Lou Staker Anderson passed away Friday, August 17, 2018 at the age of 92. Betty was born April 14, 1926 in Kenilworth, UT to Byron Wilford Staker and Rachel Merle Jones. She married Manard Lars Anderson on June 24, 1944 in Sioux Falls, SD where Manard was stationed in the Air Corps. Later they were sealed in the Salt Lake Temple March 21, 1945. Manard was devoted to Betty all his life. Manard passed away December 19, 1991. Betty chose to continue living alone in her home those remaining years with memories of Manard whom she missed dearly. She loved her friends and neighbors in her ward and did not want to leave any of them. She especially enjoyed going to plays with her group of special friends. She was always happy and cheerful to all around her.  All her life, Betty faithfully served her Father in Heaven and in church callings too many to list. She is loved by her two children, Paul K. Anderson and Lana Lee Anderson (Swanson), 9 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at Russon Mortuary in Bountiful, 295 N. Main, Tuesday, August, 21. Viewing 11:00-12:15, Services 12:30-1:00, followed by internment at Lake View Cemetery.
