Beulah Nielsen Christensen, age 92, passed away of natural causes on Sunday, November 26, 2006 in Bountiful, Utah. She was born June 4, 1914 in Axtell, Utah, to Carl E. and Jane Ann Nielsen, the oldest of their six children. She was raised in Gunnison, Utah, where she enjoyed many friends, activities and active participation in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She married Farrald D. Christensen in 1941 and they spent 57 great years together raising their four sons until he passed away in 1998. They were sealed in the Salt Lake Temple in January, 1964. Beulah was always active in the Church and served in many callings in the Primary, Cub Scouts and the Young Women?s ? on both Ward and Stake levels. Beulah was a member of the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers and was proud of her pioneer heritage. This love for her ancestors was reflected in the countless hours she spent doing genealogical research and gathering historical information. She and her husband were members of the Beehive Roamers Travel Club and enjoyed numerous trips and outings with them. They became great friends and continued to include her even after they had sold their motor home and Farrald passed away. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Farrald Chris, her oldest son Carl, her parents and two brothers. Beulah is survived by her sons Leon Marianna, Lavon Dorothy and Gerald Nancy, 10 grand children, 11 great grand children, a brother and two sisters. Funeral services will be Thursday, November 30, 2006 at 11:00 A.M. at the Bountiful 36th Ward Chapel, 102 East 1400 South, Bountiful, Utah. There will be a viewing Wednesday evening from 6 ? 7:00 P.M. at the Russon Brothers Mortuary, 295 North main, Bountiful and at the chapel from 10 ? 10:45 A.M. on Thursday. Interment will be in the Bountiful Cemetery.
