Beverly Burnett Stringham, Born on May 24, 1933 in Ogden, Utah to Harvey Matthew Burnett and Martha Child Burnett. She spent her early years in Eden, Utah and in 1945 moved with her family to Boise, Idaho where she graduated from high school. After working for two years, she attended BYU where she met Dell Bryant Stringham, Jr. They were married on September 2, 1955 in the Salt Lake City, Utah LDS Temple. After completing school they settled in sunny Southern California. They were blessed with four children: Sandra Johnson (Scott), Dell Scott (Robyn), Diane, and Don (Jenny).
Beverly passed away on May 29, 2018.
Beverly ran a successful business for 35 years, developing many lifelong relationships with her many customers.
She was instrumental in moving her great grandfather’s pioneer cabin from Eden, Utah to “This Is The Place State Park”, and having it restored. She and members of her family acted as docents in presenting the life histories of her ancestors who lived in the cabin.
She was active in the LDS church, serving in the Primary, Young Women’s, and Relief Society. Her most enjoyable calling was serving as the Primary Nursery Coordinator.
Her Patriarchal Blessing said she would mother many choice children, not only the four children named above, but many others whom she invited into her home, and mothered them all.
Survived by her husband, four children, and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am, Friday, June 1, 2018 at the Maple Hills Chapel, 1320 East 1975 South, Bountiful, Utah. Viewings will be held Thursday, May 31, 2018 from 6:00-8:00 pm at Russon Mortuary, 295 North Main, Bountiful, Utah, and on Friday from 9:45-10:45 am at the church prior to the service.
