Beverly Alida Hathaway Ellis, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away December 24,2022, in her home in Farmington, with her caring husband at her side.
Beverly was born November 29, 1926, to Lewis and Ruth Hathaway. She graduated from South High. She served a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the Western Canadian Mission. It was there that she first met Richard. After their missions and courtship, they were sealed for time and all eternity in the Salt Lake City, Utah temple. She raised two sons, David and Timothy.
She loved music, teaching piano lessons and serving many callings related to music with her ward and stake. She served two additional missions with her husband as a senior missionary couple.
She has been preceded in death by her parents, her brother Ben, and sister Bonnie. She is survived by her husband Richard, of 69 years, brother Paul, sons David/wife Denise, and Timothy/wife Sheri, 12 grandchildren and their spouses, and 25 great-grandchildren.
Her family expresses great gratitude to the doctors and nurses of Intermountain Hospice for their compassion and care during her final weeks. Her family will be forever appreciative of the many friends and neighbors who shared their love and provided Christlike service to Richard and Beverly.
