Beverly Ferguson

September 6, 1932 — November 13, 2012

Beverly Jean Larson Ferguson was born to Frank and Beryl Larson on September 6, 1932 in Logan Utah. She passed away peacefully, at the age of 80, November 13, 2012. She married Adrian Earl Ferguson Jr. on February 4, 1950, later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple. Beverly was raised in Salt Lake City and attended South High School where she participated in a cappella choir and excelled in math and English. From the time she was young, she always wanted a large family. She fulfilled her dream by having 9 children, 42 grandchildren, 40 great grandchildren, with 4 more on the way.
Her greatest gift was her charitable heart. She used her many talents to bless others lives. Her grandchildren and great grandchildren were her joy in life. Since 1989 she organized and held a yearly “cousin’s camp” which was always a highlight. She made pajamas for all her grandchildren each Christmas. Her cooking was famous and loved by all.
She served faithfully in many callings in the LDS Church. As the Relief Society President, she would make delicious heart-shaped chocolate cakes for each sister on their birthday. She made a baby quilt for each new arrival in the ward. As nursery leader, the children would cry when they had to LEAVE the nursery. She was called “the baby whisperer” by some, because of her love for babies and their love for her.
She was the most Christ-like person that we know and leaves a legacy and example that we will cherish forever.
Beverly is survived by her children, Craig L. (Debra) Ferguson of Farmington UT, Brent E. (Danna) Ferguson of Kaysville UT, David W. (Dixie) Ferguson of St. George UT, Matthew L. (Karen) Ferguson of St. George UT, Diana E. (Kevin) Hampton of Fruit Heights UT, Nancy A. (Blake) Green of Centerville UT, Caroline (Duane) Wallin of Enterprise UT, and John C. (Lisa) Ferguson of Kaysville UT. Also survived by her sister Donna (Lee) Meadows of Murray UT. She was preceded in death by her husband Adrian Earl Ferguson Jr., son Mark A. Ferguson, parents Frank and Beryl Larson, brother Richard Larson, daughter in law Margaret, grandchildren : Jared and Bradley, and great-grandchild Hadlee.
