Beverly Jacobson Grunig

August 5, 1935 — September 18, 2018

Our sweet Mother and Grandmother, Beverly Grunig, passed away September 18, 2018 of brain aneurysm in Bountiful, Utah at the age of 83 surrounded by her family.

She was born in Bloomington, Idaho on August 5th 1935. She was the second of six children born to Cyril and Gladys Jacobson. Mom's life was full of many happy memories growing up in Bear Lake. Laughter, music, hard work, and love filled the Jacobson home. Many family members lived nearby and they were a cherished part of the years she spent there.

Mom was known for her devotion to her family members whom she loved so much. She was married to her sweetheart Frank Grunig in Bloomington and they were later sealed to each other and their children in the Salt Lake Temple.

She served in many callings in the LDS church over the years. Many dear people have helped her in her later years from her Ward. Their visits and thoughtfulness were so appreciated.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Frank, brother Kay, and many other beloved family members.

Survivors include her 5 children, Linda Jensen (Gordon), Terry Gurr (Doug), Kathy Futrell (Ron), Mark Grunig, Lana Peterson (Kade), brother Max Jacobson, sisters Norene Elson (Joe), Janice Jensen (Kent), Shirley Billingsley (Laron), and her 37 grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Services will be held in the LDS chapel located on 2285 South 200 West, Bountiful, Utah 11:00 a.m. Saturday, September 29th. A viewing will be held prior to the funeral from 9:30-10:30 a.m. In the same building.

Interment will be in the Bloomington, Idaho cemetery.
