Beverly Mae Bundy

Beverly Mae Bundy, our beloved mother, wife, daughter, sister, grandmother and friend returned with honor to our heavenly home on March 15, 2015, after a courageous battle with her health. Beverly was born February 1, 1957 in Long Beach, CA, to her parents Jim and Jody Thompson. She was the baby and only girl in her family. She had three older brothers, Stephan Thompson, Ronald Thompson, and Douglas Thompson. At 14 years old, Beverly found The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and was baptized a member of it. She served in many church callings and loved the gospel with all her heart. She met the love of her life, Joseph Bundy, on a blind date to Disneyland. They were married for time and all eternity in the St George temple on December 6, 1975. Beverly was the very proud mother of four daughters, Jennifer Lynn, Stephanie Mae, Angela Jo, and Heather Lynn. Her family was her world. Nothing made her more happy than to have her three granddaughters and four grandsons all together at family gatherings. Beverly had a love for the beautiful things of this earth. She loved taking rides on rainy days, soaking up the sun on summer days and tried to enjoy life besides her later health problems. Beverly was a gifted artist. She had an eye for creating beautiful things. She used many of her artistic abilities in various church callings. She was an amazing example to her spouse and daughters on how to stay upbeat and positive about life, despite life's trials. Her family will miss her optimistic personality and the laughter that came from her witty sense of humor. Her belief in Jesus Christ and her strong testimony of her church helped Beverly through her last days on this earth. We will be celebrating the life of Beverly Mae Bundy on Saturday March 21, 2015. Funeral services will held at the LDS church at 77 S. Orchard Drive, Fruit Heights at 11am. Her viewing will be from 9:45-10:45am. prior to services.
