"Bill" Everett L. Williams

January 28, 1939 — April 23, 2015

Everett L. "Bill" Williams passed away peacefully in his sleep from complications of hip surgery and ongoing heart problems on April 23rd, 2015. He was born on January 28, 1939 in Ohio. Bill was a devoted husband to his wife, Cindy, for 41 years. He was a father who was beloved by all of his children for his lifelong example of unconditional love for them and devotion to them.

Bill was an upbeat happy guy, noted for his jokes and concern for others. He had a great love for his church and all the members in the new Northridge Ward and the old 20th Ward. Even in extremely declining health he was there for the meetings, sometimes toward the end with utmost discomfort. He was a convert to the LDS church and from the day of his Baptism in August of 1983 he completely changed his life and never looked back. He especially loved the missionaries and would do anything he could to help them. His family is so proud of him for his efforts to be an example to them of a life that can be well lived. They all love him so much.

Bill worked for General Dynamics/Hughes Aircraft as an engineer until he took a buyout retirement and the family moved to Utah.

Bill is survived by his wife Cindy, his daughters, Sandee Williams and Loredana Williams; his sons, Jeff (Anna) Shore, Dan (Elizabeth) Shore and Cary M. Williams. He was blessed with one beautiful granddaughter, Fiona Cynthia Shore. He loved his family more than anything in the world and we loved him the same way.

A viewing will be held for Bill on Tuesday, April 28th from 6 to 8 P.M. at Russon Brothers Mortuary across from Cherry Hill. His funeral will be at the Somerset Chapel, 1885 Summer Wood Drive, Farmington on Wednesday, April 29th at 11 A.M. with a viewing at 9:45 A.M. to 10:45 A.M. Interment will be at Camp Williams Military Cemetery. There is a memorial site "Memory of Bill Williams" created by his daughter and grand daughter on facebook and the family invites you to share some memories for us to cherish forever.
