Bill Gotschall, age 61, passed away March 3, 2011 at his home. He had suffered from emphysema and congestive heart failure for the past year. He was very independent and liked to do things on his own. Bill worked over 40 years at the Base Restaurant at Hill Air Force Base, as a truck driver where he had many friends. Bill never met a stranger and knew people all over town. He especially enjoyed his coffee at Sills Caf where he was treated so well by the staff and by the other customers. He was a big NASCAR fan and watched every race. His favorite drivers were Dale Earnhardt, Sr. and Junior. Bill was a member of St. Olafs Catholic Church for 50 years. He is survived by his siblings: Gloria Clark, Gary, Danny, Peggy Call, Lonnie, and Dawna Guererro. He had many nieces and nephews which he cared about and always enjoyed telling stories to. The family would like to thank all the people who were kind to Bill over the years, including the America First Credit Union tellers who always assisted him in a genuine manner and called him by his first name. Graveside services will be held at 12:00 noon, Wednesday, March 9, 2011 at the Centerville City Cemetery, 650 East 400 South. Friends and family may call Tuesday evening from 6:00 -8:00 p.m. at Russon Brothers Bountiful Mortuary, 295 North Main. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to Primary Childrens Hospital
