Bonnie Barney Bryan

June 15, 1942 — March 21, 2018

It is with mixed emotion we say good bye to our Mom and Grandma, who passed away on Wednesday, March 21, 2018 in the presence of loved ones.

Bonnie was born on June 15, 1942 in Salt Lake City to Carl Wilford Barney and Eva Annette Scott.

She grew up in Sugarhouse, graduated from Highland High School and later had three children.

Bonnie waitressed most of her life; where she met many of her lifelong friends and acquaintances.

A free spirit, Bonnie was loved by many and will be dearly missed.  She liked to start her day sitting outside with a cup of coffee, and enjoying her view of the mountains.  Bonnie also enjoyed the outdoors, music, working in her yard, planting wild flowers, traveling with her mother, spending time with her grandkids and being surrounded by family and friends.  Bonnie loved to laugh and was known for her sense of humor, sarcasm and quick wit.

Bonnie is survived by her daughter Corrinne Rainey, son Sean Bryan, brothers Carl and Frank Barney and grandchildren: Aubrey, Brodee, Chandler, Kyler, Connor and Caitlin.  Proceeded in death by her parents, sisters Beverly and Barbara, brother Jay, daughter Nickole and grandson Bailey.

A Celebration of Life Open House will be held on Friday, April 6, 2018, from 6:00 – 9:00 p.m. at the home of Corrinne Rainey: 523 Willow Valley Drive, Centerville UT 84014.

We would like to extend much thanks to Avalon Care Center in Bountiful and Bristol Hospice for their kindness and care.
