Bountiful

Bonnie Rae Harris Giles, age 89, passed away June 17, 2020, in Bountiful, Utah.

She was born on April 5th, 1931, in St. John, Idaho, to Archibald Harris and Mary Mae Joes Harris.  She was the youngest of six daughters, and was raised on the family farm.

She graduated from Malad High School, and then attended Utah State Agricultural College for two years, where she met a handsome Sigma Chi named Wendell Giles.  Bonnie and Wendell were married in 1951 in the Idaho Falls Temple, this began their adventure which lasted over 68 years together.  They were blessed with two daughters, three grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.

Bonnie was a life long member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day-Saints, and served those around her in many capacities.

She retired from Unisys Corporation and spent over 30 years of retirement with Wendell.  Together they enjoyed 24 Winters in sunny St. George, where they looked forward to their Wednesday luncheons with all their Bear River and Malad friends.  She enjoyed sewing, quilting, crocheting, word search puzzles and watching the Jazz play.

She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, friend and neighbor.  She will be deeply missed by those who loved her.
