Bosten Scot Peters

August 26, 1992 — November 3, 2018

We are all broken-hearted at the sudden loss of our Son, Brother, Grandson and New Dad, “BOSS."  It is impossible to capture a person in an obituary, especially someone whose adult life was largely defined by drug addiction but we will try…

Bosten was a charming, energetic, smart kid with a beautiful smile and gorgeous hazel eyes.  He had a personality that drew people to him and he could make a friend anywhere he was.  He had a highly competitive spirit which came out while cheating at CandyLand with his younger brother and not handing over the controller to his Mom while playing their all night Crash Bandicoot parties.  This spirit would later be his demise.

Bosten loved to entertain us all, common phrases around our house were “Watch Me”, “Watch This” and “Look at Me.”

Bosten fell in love with sports – mainly Baseball and Football where he excelled playing on multiple competition baseball teams and football through his senior year at WX High School where he graduated in 2011.  Over these years there have been many Coaches and Mentors that have left a lasting impression on us all.

Bosten’s other love was his friends that he acquired over the years, some of whom were inseparable.  There was scootering, bike riding, whiffle ball games late into the nights, swimming all day at The Bankowski’s, target practice at The Brown’s, pranks and many more mischievous things that boys do. We called these boys "friends" but they and their families have become so much more than that to us.  They are our FAMILY now and we have Bosten to thank for that.

Ultimately when all the games stopped his fearless competitive spirit sought out an unbeatable opponent for him.

“He left us all a LEGEND”

Survived by his parents, Scot and Brittany Peters, his brother Bruin, Grandparents Hal and Lana Young, his son Legend Peters and Fiancé Marzena Gasienica, Great Grandma Beverly Blundell and many loving Aunts, Uncles and Cousins. Preceded in death by his Grandparents John Blundell , Arky and Claudia Peters, Great Grandparents Jerry and Carma Clarkson, Harry Blundell and Grace Golden.

Come share a story and celebrate with us on Friday, November 9, 2018 from 6-8 pm at the former Wasatch Auto Group location, 847 Northpointe Circle, North Salt Lake.  Graveside Services will be held at the Bountiful Cemetery, 2224 South 200 West, Saturday, November 10, 2018 at 11:00.

In lieu of flowers, an account has been set up at Wells Fargo Bank for Legend Peters.
