Boyd Laurel Sorenson

Boyd Laurel Sorenson, born Salt Lake City, April 20, 1963 to Laurel C. Sorenson and Glenda S. Sorenson.

Deceased December 11, 2019, North Salt Lake.

Boyd moved to Bountiful with his parents when he was six months old.  Attended Bountiful Elementary, South Davis Junior High, Millcreek Junior High and Bountiful High School.

Boyd is an Eagle Scout.  He started working full time at 17 years old for Microbiology Laboratory. He later worked for several employers in Utah throughout his life.

Boyd loved music and writing musical lyrics.

He is survived by his children, Jessica and Christopher, his parents, his siblings, Eric Sorenson (Myra), Todd Sorenson, Jill Sorenson, Dane Sorenson (Tracy), Adam Sorenson, Heidi Gonzalez (Jose), and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am, Saturday, December 21, 2019 at Russon Mortuary, 295 North Main, Bountiful, Utah.  Friends may visit family at 10:15 am prior to services.  Interment will be at the Ovid Idaho Cemetery.
