Bradley Gale Caldwell

May 30, 1963 — March 27, 2025

On March 27th, 2025, Bradley Gale Caldwell peacefully passed from this life to the next, surrounded by and met with love.

He was born on May 30, 1963, in Ogden, Utah, to Gale and Beverly Caldwell. As the fifth of six children, most of Bradley's early years were spent in Kaysville, where he developed a passion for sports, particularly basketball and football, in which he excelled during his time at Davis High School. According to his stories, he holds multiple school records that still stand to this day.

A faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Bradley devoted much of his life to serving others and the core beliefs of the church. He served a mission in Washington, D.C., and held numerous leadership roles, including serving as bishop.

His love for the Gospel led him to a fulfilling career as a seminary teacher. Through his love for the Savior, scriptures, and the strength of his testimony he was able to help people connect with Christ in meaningful ways.

Bradley found great joy in community, and many of his communities came from sports -- whether supporting, playing, refereeing, or coaching. Outside of sports, he had a strong desire to support and grow other communities he was involved in. He was appointed to the Kaysville City Council and was a member of the Kaysville Rotary Club, although we have a hunch his primary motivation for joining was to light off fireworks at the Kaysville 4th of July celebration. He loved connecting with others, always reaching out with letters, notes, texts, and emails when he couldn't be there in person. There's no doubt he'll find new ways to connect and support in his next life.

He married the love of his life, Sue Ann Welling Caldwell in the Jordan River Temple, and together they raised a loving family. Bradley had a knack for bringing family activities to a screeching halt so he could profess his love for Sue and remind his children and grandchildren how proud of them he was.

His greatest loves in life were his family, his faith, teaching, and the Los Angeles Dodgers. Bradley rarely missed a game, using his love of baseball to connect and bring joy to those around him, even his non-baseball loving family.

He is survived by his loving wife, Sue; four children, Larry (Chelsea), Pete (Claire), Ann (Jake) and Alison; and five grandchildren with one on the way.

Bradley was preceded in death by little angels who never walked this earth but were dearly loved and are now with him in heaven.

He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

An evening visitation will take place from 6-8pm on Sunday, March 30, 2025 at Russon Mortuary, 1941 N. Main St., Farmington, Ut. Funeral services will be held at Russon Mortuary at 10am on Monday, March 31, 2025 with a visitation preceding the service from 8:45-9:45. All are welcome to wear Dodger blue.

Services will be streamed live on the Russon Mortuary Live Facebook page (click here) and on this obituary page. The live stream will begin 10-15 minutes prior to services and will be posted below.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you take your loved ones to a ballgame and enjoy a hotdog. Bradley would have loved nothing more than sharing that joy with others.

Do not stand, by my grave, and weep.
I am not there, I do not sleep—
I am the thousand winds that blow
I am the diamond glints in snow
I am the sunlight on ripened grain,
I am the gentle, autumn rain.
As you awake with morning’s hush,
I am the swift, up-flinging rush
Of quiet birds in circling flight,
I am the day transcending night.
Do not stand by my grave, and cry—
I am not there, I did not die.
