Biography

Bradley Hanson Seare
We are deeply saddened by the loss of our beloved Bradley Hanson Seare, born to Scott and Cyndee Seare on April 28, 1976. Brad passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family and friends on February 27, 2012 after a brief illness.

Brad was deeply committed to his true love, Amy and his beautiful children, Parker, 12, Maya 8 and Avery, 5, whom he loved dearly. Brad was often quoted saying that his wife and kids were the best part of his life.

Brad was also survived by his parents, Scott and Cyndee Seare, brothers, Matthew (Julianne), Greg (Katrina), Stephen (Angie) Seare and grandmothers, Joyce Seare and Beth Hanson and many aunts, uncles, cousins and his teammates over the years.

He is also survived by his parents-in-law Roger and Chelita Pate, Ammon (Flavia) Pate, Orlando Pate, Elias (Michelle) Pate and Matthew Pate.

Brad was an All-State baseball player at West Jordan High School. Upon graduation, Brad was drafted by the San Francisco Giants. Brad went on to play for Utah Valley State College then on to his much loved University of Utah, Utes where he graduated with a BS, in Business Finance with a full-ride baseball scholarship. Brad loved sports and was a devoted fan to the Pittsburg Steelers.

Brad’s passion was coaching the Utah Bombers where his greatest desire was to not only teach his team how to play baseball, but to teach them about life’s lessons. Brad was deeply loved by his young team. Brad had been working on preparing his team for a “once in a life-time” opportunity to travel to Cooperstown this coming June. Even though Brad will not be physically present with his team, we know that he will be there in spirit to help them get the most out of the experience.

We feel proud to have had Brad in our lives. Brad taught us the meaning of giving, selflessness and unconditional love.
