Brenda J. Scott

December 6, 1955 — April 9, 2016

Brenda J. Scott was born on December 6, 1955 in Cincinnati, Ohio and passed away on Saturday, April 9, 2016, in Salt Lake City, Utah. Brenda was a caring, compassionate, loving, and warm-hearted person. She touched everyone who came in contact with her. Her early years, were spent living in California where she was an excellent employee for Safe Trans. Transportation. She met, dated, and then married Paul, on September 3, 1987. During their journey through life, they relocated to Bountiful, Utah in 2002 and loved it so much they never left. Brenda spent the last 13 years courageously battling against heart disease. Even though her health was deteriorating, she was still such a remarkable person to be around. She had an optimistic outlook on life and always had a positive attitude. It would be impossible to list all the people whose lives she touched through the years.
Brenda will be extremely missed and will continue to be remembered by memories through family, including; her mother Margaret Rhoden, (CA.), her sister and brother-in-law Darlene and Kenneth McDaniell (TX), her son and daughter- in-law Keith and Rhiana Rhoden (CA), son Shawn Scott (NV), son and daughter-in-law Jason and Kelley Scott (UT), son Corey Gozdan (CA), son Jeremey Gozdan (CA), her 6 grandchildren, MaKayla, Jason Jr., Kyra, Ryen, Jocelyn, Justin, and many friends. Brenda was proceeded in death by her father, Lawrence “Jr.” Rhoden.
