Brenda Sue Pederson 74, passed away peacefully on January 3, 2023 due to health complications.
Brenda was born on July 16, 1948 to Edward and Rose Burnsed in Mesa Arizona. She was the oldest of three children. The family later moved to Grandview, ID where Brenda graduated from Grandview High School in 1967.
Following high school graduation, Brenda met and married the love of her life, Gale Harvey Pederson on September 23, 1967. They began their life together, venturing to multiple military duty locations throughout the country and the world, including Holloman AFB New Mexico, Mountain Home AFB Idaho, RAF Alconbury England, Hill AFB Utah, Chanute AFB Illinois, and returned to Hill AFB Utah after her husband’s military retirement. Together they have four children, eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Brenda worked many jobs, including her own daycare, DFG in the Clearfield Freeport Center, Little Caesars, and the Hill AFB Commissary where she retired after 21 years. She was an expert at making friends wherever she was. She had an abundance of love and a generous nature to share with others.
Brenda loved spending time hunting and fishing with her beloved husband Gale. Together, they enjoyed spending time with their children and grandchildren in the mountains and on the lakes. She loved and was deeply loved by her family and friends.
Brenda is survived by her husband, Gale, her children, Melissa (Rick) Brown, Dana Pederson, Michelle Smith, Paul (Kristie) Pederson, eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Brenda is preceded in death by her parents, brother Edwin Burnsed and sister Marie Knipple.
There will be a viewing on January 12, 2023 from 9:45 to 10:45 AM with the funeral service to follow at Russon Mortuary, 1585 West 300 South, Syracuse, Utah, 84075.
