Brian Darrell Bills passed away at home December 19, 2010 after a courageous battle with Melanoma. Born January 20, 1956 in Salt Lake City to Robert Darrell and Edith Jasperson Bills. He grew up in Bountiful, Utah. Active member of the L.D.S. church, he served as a missionary in San Diego, CA and in many other callings. He had an artistic ability and his art pieces bring joy to those who view them. He earned degrees in Commercial Art and Drafting, in which he worked for several years; more recently he worked at the University of Utah. He enjoyed being in the outdoors: hiking, biking, boating, skiing, and especially fly fishing. The family cabin in the Uintas was his second home. Brian was a gentle, kind person willing to help others whenever he could. We will miss his good-natured teasing. Survived by his mother, Edith; sisters Shauna (Dale) Keddington, Brenda (Steve) Miner; brother Randy; a nephew and 4 nieces; and 5 grand-nephews/niece. Preceded in death by his sister, Pamela and his father, Robert. The family would like to thank all the caring people at the Huntsman Cancer Institute, the Nevada Cancer Institute, and Caring Hands Hospice. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, December 23, 2010 at the LDS Stake Center, 1250 South Main, Bountiful.
