Brian Call Webb

December 14, 1938 — April 6, 2017

Brian Call Webb passed away April 6, 2017 following multiple medical challenges for most of his adult life culminating in a losing battle with terminal cancer during the last year.

Brian was born under the Covenant to Heber John Webb and Grace Carol Call Webb in the Lehi, Utah hospital during the Great Depression and lived in the same home with his parents and paternal grandparents after his father expanded the living quarters.  Brian’s father passed away when Brian was 5 years of age and left his mother with a 15-year-old son and two younger brothers. Brian then grew up under the care of a very competent and loving mother in Lehi, Ogden and Bountiful, Utah. Following high school, he served in the Utah National Guard followed by an LDS mission to California and attended Brigham Young University.  His career led him to executive positions in Administrative and Accounting Management.

Brian married his one and only love Ila Powell on April 14, 1961.  This union produced five children born under the Covenant in whom Brian and Ila have remained proud and all became productive, good citizens and remain dedicated to principles of the Church.  They constitute the sixth continuous generation as members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.  Brian served in various positions in the Church including Advisor to the Deacons, Teachers and Priests Quorum’s, Stake Auditor and First Counselor in the Stake Sunday School Presidency.

Brian is survived by his beloved wife Ila (Centerville, Utah), brother Errol A. Webb and his wife Janet (Highland, Utah), children:  Tamara (Boise, Idaho), John (Taylorsville, Utah), Sherry (Farmington, Utah), Teresa and her husband Richard (North Salt Lake City, Utah), and James, (Riverton, Utah), eleven grandchildren and two great grandchildren.  Preceded in death by Father Heber John Webb, mother Grace Carol Call Webb Wing, stepfather Alva H. Wing, and brother John Wayne Webb and his wife Karma.

Family would like to express their deepest gratitude to the caregivers at Adagio Hospice for their compassionate care and loving attention in his final days.

Funeral services will be held at the Centerville LDS Stake Center, 950 North Main, Centerville, Utah at 11 AM on April 15, 2017.   A reuniting and viewing with family and friends will be held between 9:45 AM and 10:45 AM prior to services followed by family prayer. Interment-Lehi City Cemetery.
