Brian Jonathan Flint 8/29/1979 – 6/27/2019. Brian aka (Bonez), passed away on Thursday, June 27, 2019, in his home after his courageous battle with brain cancer.
He was a very kind, loving and giving person. Throughout the last days of his life it became his priority to make sure all his friends and family knew how much they meant to him. He wanted to live life as much as possible and have fun. He had 4 beautiful children who were the light of his life and he will be watching over them every day. He also had a new nephew which he adored and thankfully he was able to spend time with him and enjoyed every minute. He made many friends along his journey in life and considered many of them as family. Some of his male friends he considered as his brothers.
He loved the outdoors especially fishing. He had always wanted to ride a horse and prior to his passing he was able to fulfill his wish going on a ride with friends and family to Monte Cristo. He was also able to go ice fishing and enjoy the beauty of the mountains which he loved so much. He was an avid runner and hoped one day to run with his brothers in the Ragnar race. He came up with the team name they would use which was BBGG meaning “Bad Boys Gone Good”. In his honor his brothers plan on running that race and using the team name he incorporated. He also enjoyed reading and read hundreds of books. His favorite was called “Fearless” the story of the undaunted courage and sacrifice of a Navy Seal, which inspired another quote between he and his brothers which was “Forever Fearless”.
He is survived by his children Brian Hess, Castien Hess, Makayla Hess and Kameren Hess. His mother Jeannine Flint and his sister Crystal Flint.
His children wanted to express their feelings towards their dad. They wrote the following.
Thank you Dad for keeping your promise and coming home to us, if only for a moment, our moment's together with you has given us a lifetime of memories. You were the strongest, bravest man we will ever know…we will miss you.
Love your kids, Brian, Castien, Makayla and Kameren.
He will be truly missed but he is now at peace in a better place and no longer suffering. A celebration of life will be held in late August which would have been his 40th birthday. We will do an update on the details pending arrangements. The song ‘Something To Remind You” by artist Staind is the song he wanted to be remembered by.
