Brian Poulson born September 26, 1974 at Andrews AFB, MD, had a smile that would make everyone feel better. He loved his family, and his boys and enjoyed time with them as he worked hard to provide for them and raise them. He worked in construction, enjoyed food service as a line cook at the Grand America, and The Point, at the Huntsman Cancer Institute. He had a knack for gardening and landscaping, working for a time for Layton City Parks & Recreation. When he wasn’t working, he loved to camp and fish. He even hung out with a wild bear at Soldier Creek for a few scary minutes. Brian had rhythm, and he listened to a lot of music. He had the best speakers in his 1991 vintage red Cadillac, and he loved to play the drums. His dream was to play in a famous band, and thanks to the loving members of Liberty Church of Salt Lake he was able to build friendships and play in the greatest worship band ever. As a family, we thank all of you for walking with Brian through the shadows of life and bringing light to his soul.
Brian loved watching the weather and would keep track of storms where ever they popped up. He weathered many storms throughout his own life, and was eager to help others in the storm step into the calm. He will be greatly missed by those he helped.
Brian is survived by his sons Fredrick William Knowlden, Curtis Poulson, Dominick Poulson, Mother; Norma Rochelle Kirk of Murray, Utah. Father; Sterling S. Poulson of Centerville, Utah, Siblings; Rochelle Trudo (sister), Jessica Poulson (step-sister), Preston Casey (step-brother), Cody Casey (step-brother) Grandchildren; Alayna Nizoni Knowlden, Drexon William Knowlden.
