Brit Don Howard was born on September 27, 1956, in Ogden Utah, to Don R and Geri Bushnell Howard. He was the first of three sons. He grew up in Kaysville, Utah. He passed away at home on September 19, 2015 from an automobile accident in 2013.
He graduated from Davis High where he was on the debate team, taking state and regional championships and he attended Weber State College.
Brit was active in the Kaysville JC’s and was state and regional director. He was active in politics, serving on the planning commission and the city council for 6 years and as Mayor of Kaysville where he was instrumental in bringing the Utah State Botanical Gardens to the city. He served as chairmen on the Davis County Board of adjustments.
Brit was a real estate agent at age 18, a broker at 21, and a highly respected appraiser for 38 years.
He loved traveling, cooking, gardening, and his pets. He was always kind and giving and friendly to everyone.
Brit is survived by his spouse, Link Konizeski, his parents and two brothers Troy (Sydnie) Howard and Steward Howard, his nephew Greyson (Oakley) Howard and their 3 children Londyn, Corver and Hazen. He was preceded in death by his nephew Duncan Howard.
The family would like to thank all who cared for Brit, the hospital, nursing care facilities, hospice, and all his friends and neighbors.
A celebration of his life will be held at a later date. We love you Brit!
