Bryant McMullin passed away August 13, 2011. He was born February 3, 1930 in Hurricane, Utah. His parents were Karl Alfred and Leone Russell McMullin. He grew up in Hurricane attending elementary and high school there. Bryant married Mary Lu Richards, June 3, 1952. Later solomenized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. They are the parents of 5 children. Bryant was preceded in death by his parents; son, Kevin; brothers, Karl, Doyle and Alton; and sister Leone McMullin. He is survived by his wife; daughter, Shawna (Ryan) Knighton; sons, Russell (Darcie), Dale and Richard (Sandy) McMullin; 13 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; 2 step-grandchildren; 3 step great-grandchildren; brothers, Hugh and William (Carol) McMullin; sisters, Helen (Craig) Kennington and Amy Jones. Bryant was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Served in several church callings. Bryant was drafted into the Army in March of 1951 and was honorable discharged in March of 1953. Bryant was employed for 11 years at Intermountain Farmers, 9 years at Booth Fisheries and 21 years as custodian for the LDS Church where he retired. We wish to thank the staff at Aspire Hospice for the kind, loving care given to Bryant the past several months, especially Donnette, Ronda, Jody, Ashley and Dan. A viewing will be held for friends and family Wednesday evening, August 17, 2011 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the Orchard 2nd Ward, 3707 South 800 West, Bountiful. Private family service.
