Cami Pectol

January 22, 1975 — August 20, 2011

Cami Nicole Pectol, loved mother, wife, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend passed away on August 20, 2011. Determined to be there for her son Gage she battled cancer for two years. Cami was born on January, 22 1975. After graduating from Brighton High School in 1993, Cami attended the University of Utah. Cami married Benjamin Pectol on May 1, 1999. Cami was a hard worker and made may friends at the Sno-Shack, XO Communications, Advanta and Wells Fargo. Her crowning achievement and deepest joy was as mother to her cherished son Gage. Cami was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and was most recently serving as a Primary teacher. Cami’s laughter and personality were very contagious and would brighten up the room. Her smile will be missed. When Cami married Ben, she instantly became one of the sister’s and daughter’s with all of the love and caring that came with it. She was adored by her nieces and nephews and she loved them all very much. Cami’s wonderful spirit left an impression on those who knew her. Cami is survived by her husband Benjamin, son Gage, Mother Sue Barlow, Grandparents David Max Fackrell & Vonetta Fackrell, Hal & Karma Pectol, Ken & Dawn Nodzu, Aunt Sharon Brocious (Rick), and many other aunts, uncles, cousins, brother in-laws, sister in-laws, loving nieces, nephews, and extended family. She was preceded in death by her Uncle David Nolan Fackrell, Aunt Margie Doneen Burr, Aunt Joanna Brown and brother in-law Jeromy Pectol. Funeral services will be held at Russon Brothers Mortuary, 1941 N. Main Farmington, Utah on Saturday, August 27, 2011 at 11:00 am. There will also be a viewing at Russon Brothers Farmington Mortuary on Friday evening, August 26, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. and Saturday from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. prior to services. Interment at Farmington Cemetery. The family wishes to extend appreciation to Cami’s doctors and care-givers. Cami showed us that the influence of one’s life far exceeds the quantity of time in which one lives.
