Carmen Olympia Colombi, age 92, passed away Sunday, February 27, 2005 in Bountiful, Utah. She was born April 25, 1912 in General Alvear, Argentina, the daughter of Luis and Mercedes Villalba. Married Pedro Rubino Colombi in Mendoza, Argentina. She was an active member of the LDS Church and provided pension room and board for many missionaries in Argentina who dearly loved her cooking and friendship. She loved to grow flowers and travel. Her pet bird, Chico, was her pride and joy. Survived by her daughter, Ana F. Porter and her husband David L. Porter of Bountiful, two grandsons, Lonnie and Andy and three great grandchildren Drew, Micah and Courtney. Preceded in death by her husband, Pedro and some of her brothers and sisters. Special thanks to South Davis Community Hospital and Dr. Scott Southworth for their loving care during her time of need. Graveside services will be held Thursday, March 3, 2005 at 12:00 noon at the Bountiful City Cemetery, 2020 South 200 West. Friends may call Wednesday evening from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the Russon Brothers Bountiful Mortuary, 295 North Main and Thursday morning from 11:00 – 11:30 a.m. prior to services.
