Carol Blackett Dalton
4/04/1924 – 11/08/2012

Carol was 88 years old when her long, valiant struggle with heart and kidney failure finally came to an end. She returned to her Heavenly Father on Thursday, November 8, 2012.

Carol was born April 4, 1924, to Robert Earl Blackett and Mary Edna Knudsen in Springville, Utah. She graduated from Springville High School in 1942 and married Raymond Dalton that summer on June 24th. She was a lifelong member of the LDS Church and a proud member of the Daughters of Utah Pioneers.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Raymond Dalton, four siblings and two daughters, Sheila Rae and Edna Mae. She is survived by her children Kathy (James) Jones, Carolyn Dalton, Patricia Jacobson, Raymond Dalton, nine grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren as well as three siblings and many wonderful friends.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, November 15th, at 12:00 PM at the Liberty 8th Ward Chapel located at 500 South 300 East, Salt Lake City. Her burial will be Friday, November 16th, at 2:30 PM at Evergreen Cemetery in Springville, Utah.
