Carol Dean Een Brown

July 14, 1943 — May 3, 2017

Carol was born in Salt Lake City on July 14, 1943 to Francis (Frank) John Williams, Jr. and Lu Dean Rogers Williams.  In her early years, Carol grew up in Salt Lake City, and was a great help to her mother and father.  Carol was industrious even at an early age, often earning money ironing for others.  Carol graduated from West High before the family moved to Davis County.

Carol worked for First Security Bank in Provo and Salt Lake City before she landed her dream job in the medical field. Carol loved her friends and colleagues at Dr. Beck and Dr. Peterson’s office in Bountiful.

Carol will be missed more than our family can express.  She was such a kind, caring, and helpful person. She was an angel on earth! She loved to cook for her family, and we often celebrated holidays at her house. Carol’s paternal grandmother, Elizabeth Stelter Williams, often taught the girls how to cook, and provided wonderful recipes from the “old” world.

Carol married LaMont Een and together raised their family of six beautiful children.  They had the joy of living in many communities in Utah, Provo, Huntsville, and Bountiful.  Carol and LaMont were later divorced.

Carol met and married the love of her life and sweetheart Kim Brown, October 18th, 2002.  Carol and Kim were a wonderful team, and truly demonstrated how to be in love. They loved to travel to warm destinations, Lake Powell was one of their favorite locations.

Carol is survived by her sweetheart Kim Brown, children Kenneth Een (Wanda), Michael Een (Annette), Liz McCollum (Ron), Jennifer Dufala (Matt), Timothy Een (Amber). Carol adored her bonus children Morgan (Steven) Nelson, and Lance (Elise).  Carol cherished the grandbabies (10), she always loved babies and was able to settle even the crankiest!  Carol loved and enjoyed her mother in law dearly, Nelda Roskelley. Carol’s mother (LuDean Williams) will miss her oldest very much.  Carol’s sisters Jan Savage, Robin (Les DuBois) Williams, and Marilee (Rory) Romero will miss Carol and all the family parties and fun we had together!

Carol was preceded in death by her young son, Lamont (Monty) Een, and father, Frank Williams Jr.
