Carol Hatch

Carol Hatch, 68 years old, of Layton Utah passed away on July 17th 2018 at the Promise Hospital of Salt Lake surrounded by her family. She was the daughter of Douglas and Thayle (Mann) Argyle. Her siblings are; Mary (Tom Mickelsen), Brenda (Daniel Wiseman), Ben (Gayle Argyle), Brady (Kathy Argyle) and Tracy (Ruth Argyle) who will always love and cherish their sister.  She attended Viewmont High School with perfect attendance. Carol married her soul mate William Wesley Hatch 51 years ago on June 3rd, 1967. Together they "hatched" four beautiful children Kimberly, Brooke, Corbett and Lacey.  She later became a proud grandmother to 13 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
Carol spent her early years providing in home childcare. She later worked at Futura Industries until health conditions kept her at home. She was blessed with a lung transplant in 2001 and continued to witness the many unforgettable lifetime moments from births, blessings, baptisms, supporting her grandchildren's talents, funerals, graduations, weddings, she was always there. She had a natural talent for writing stories and loved to travel.  Her hobbies included collecting dolls, Coca-Cola memorabilia, making quilts for all her grandchildren, gardening, putting together puzzles and cooking Sunday roasts for the family.
Carol joins her parents (Douglas and Thayle Argyle), Sister (Mary Mickelsen), and Brother (Brady Argyle) in heaven. As her husband William W. Hatch, children: Kimberly McArthur, Brooke Prisco, Corbett Hatch, Lacey Hatch, daughter- in- law Kristine Hatch, grandchildren:  Melissa, Alisha, Stephanie, Michael, Brittany, Haylee, Josie, Dylan, Evan, Lucy, Weston, Garrett, Jaxon, and great-grandchildren: Jeremiah, Gage, Shaylee, Kysen, Aiden and Ellison,who will all carry on her legacy.
A viewing will be held at Russon Mortuary, 295 N. Main Bountiful, Ut. Sunday July 22nd from 6-8 p.m. and Monday July 23rd from 1:30-2:30 p.m followed by a graveside service at 3:00 p.m. at the Bountiful City Cemetery, 2224 South 200 West.  In lieu of flowers please send donations to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital on behalf of Carol Argyle Hatch,  501 St Jude place Memphis, TN. 38105.
