Carol Heagin

Carol Bell Heagin, born December 1934 in Tooele, Utah passed away June  26, 2018 at Legacy House Cottage in Bountiful Utah due to complications of Alzheimer’s.  

Carol was the third daughter of five girls born to Frederick and Tressia Bell in Tooele, Utah. Married John (Jack) Heagin January 13, 1956 in Tooele, Utah. Mother of three children Peggy (James) Newman, Mike, and Julie.  Traveled the country in support of Jack’s military career. Enjoyed genealogy, gardening and her cat.  

Survived by husband, children, three grandsons Alan, Scott and Jeff.  Three great grandchildren Kayla, Matthew and Claire. Three sisters Joyce Searle, Loya Padgen and Barbara (John) Gillette.  Preceded in death by parents, sister Lorraine Haskell.

Family would like to express their gratitude to the staff at Legacy House and the Cottage, also Aspire Hospice for their love, care and support of Carol.

Graveside services will be held at 1 pm Saturday June 30, 2018 at the Bountiful City cemetery. Friends and family may visit Friday between 6 and 8 pm at Russon Mortuary, 295 Main Street, Bountiful, Utah. Interment will be at the Bountiful City Cemetery.
