Carol Lynn Makin

On September 24, 2017, our Heavenly Father called his beautiful angel home and she will be dearly missed by every life she touched. Carol was born on June 15, 1938 to Neil Phillip Davis and LaVere Haynes. She Married Joe Ray Makin on November 9, 1957 for time and eternity in the Manti LDS Temple. They lived in Farmington Utah for 40+ years and raised 8 children.

Carol Loved to crochet, do crafts, play games, go for long drives and joke with everyone she met. She was a real social butterfly making friends everywhere she went.

She is survived by 6 of her children: Jerry Makin, Ronald (Susie) Makin, David (Heather) Makin, Gary (Deborah) Makin, Brad (Lisa) Makin and Angela (Mike) Van Roekel. 33 Grand Children and 8 Great Grand Children with two more on the way.

She is proceeded in death by her husband Joe Ray Makin, Son Steven (Cynthia) Makin, Daughter Jolynn (Byron) Eddards and Granddaughter Chelsea Truex.

Funeral Services will be held Friday, September 29, 2017 at 1:00 pm at the LDS Chapel located at 311 North 800 West, Bountiful, Utah. Friends and Family may call Thursday, September 28, 2017 from 6:00 – 8:00 PM at the Bountiful Russon Mortuary located at 295 North Main Street, or on Friday from 11:30 am – 12:30 pm prior to services at the church. Interment will be at the Farmington City Cemetery.
