Carol Proctor Thompson

Carol Dawn Proctor Thompson born on December 29, 1928 in Salt Lake City passed away on December 12, 2011. Carol was the daughter of Samuel and Ellen Proctor. She married Ralph Ernest Thompson on May 4, 1946 and they were sealed in the Salt Lake Temple October 26, 1956. Ralph and Carol have been dedicated to each other for 65 years. She was the cherished mother of 6 children: Don (Debbie) Thompson – Sandy,UT : Ken (Cindy) Thompson Phoenix,AZ- , Russell (Sandra) Thompson- Centerville,UT, Susan (Kevin)Scott Layton,UT, Ellen Thompson- Clearfield,UT Roger (Jennifer) Thompson Vancouver, WA. Carol and Ralph lived in Bountiful for 50 years and enjoyed many close friends there. She and her husband served three missions for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints: Oklahoma Tulsa, New Hampshire Manchester, and a CES Service Mission. She is survived by her husband, children, 27 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren. Funeral Services and Viewings will be held at Russon Brothers Mortuary 295 N. Main Bountiful,UT. Viewing times will be Sunday, December 18, 6 pm 7pm and Monday, December 19, 10:00 to 10:45. Funeral Services will begin at 11:00 am.
