Carol Roma StClair

June 23, 1942 — February 2, 2019

Carol Roma Fuller StClair, 76, passed away the morning of Saturday February 2, 2019 surrounded by those she loved at her home in Bountiful, Utah

Born June 23, 1942 in Murray, Utah to Willard & Roma Fuller

She was the beloved wife of the late Clyde Sterling StClair

Carol grew up on a farm in Salt Lake City, Utah. It was an idyllic childhood with loving parents, wonderful siblings and friends. She was a proud Granite High School Farmer. Clyde & Carol were married in the Salt Lake Temple on July 8, 1963.

After marriage Carol lived in Lakewood (CA), SLC (UT), Phoenix & Tucson (AZ) & finally Bountiful, (UT) the rest of her years.

Mom loved serving others. She worked tirelessly to help those in her ward, neighborhood & anyone else in need. She was oh so generous giving her time, love & money to benefit those less fortunate than herself. She never missed an opportunity to donate blood and served the senior community at Heritage Place for years and years.

Mom was a simple woman who needed very little of this world’s extravagances. Whether she had extra money or not she lived simply and only ever got spoiled by those who loved her.

She loved her family so much and was the most wonderful wife, mother, sister and daughter. Being a mother was her greatest calling and she fulfilled it with undying compassion and unconditional love. Quick to smile with the most infectious laugh of all time, everyone instantly loved her. Mom was absolutely without avarice or malice. Truly a kind woman with a heart full of love, compassion and charity.

Being a grandmother and great grandmother was pure joy and filled her heart with sunshine. Nothing made her smile more than spending time with her grandkids.

Carol was preceded in death by her husband Clyde StClair, son Steven StClair,  and Brother Richard Fuller. Survived by her sons Craig StClair (Jess), Jared StClair, daughter Alison Morgan (Daniel), Sisters Marilyn Smith (Hyrum), Yvonne Bonebreak (Bill), Brother George Fuller (Barbara), Grandchildren Mikayla Hyde (Alden), Lily StClair, Bridger StClair, Norah StClair and Zander StClair, and great-grandchild, Adelaide Hyde.

A celebration of Carol’s life will be held at the Bountiful 20th ward house on 102 E 1400 S, Saturday Feb 9. Viewing at 12:45-1:45. Funeral service 2:00. Interment at Bountiful City Cemetery directly after funeral service followed by a luncheon back at the ward house for family and close friends.
