Carol Stanger

Our angel mother and wife, Carol Diane Stanger, returned to her Heavenly Father on February 3, 2013. Carol was born September 5, 1958, to William and Mary Chris in South Bend, Indiana. She graduated from Bountiful High in 1976 and attended BYU.
She married her eternal companion, Roland Stanger, on July 12, 1985 in the Salt Lake Temple. Her family was her most prized possession. She loved being a wife and mother and was looking forward to being a grandmother in the near future.
Carol was a faithful member of the LDS Church and enjoyed family history and serving others in the Bountiful temple.
She was a kind and friendly person, who frequently struck up conversations with friends and strangers alike.
Carol is survived by her husband Roland; daughters, Stephanie Myers (BJ), Rachel, and Mary; parents, William and Mary Chris; and siblings Linda Frisby (Mark), Mike Chris (Ileen), Bob Chris (Nancy), and Terri Okuly (Tom).
Viewings will be held Thursday Feb 7th from 6-8 PM at the Russon Brothers Mortuary, 295 N Main, Bountiful and Friday Feb.8th from 9:30-10:30 AM in the LDS chapel at 3350 S 100 E followed by the funeral at 11:00 AM.
