We are saddened to announce the passing of our sister, aunt, and friend. After several years of poor health, Carolyn Pearson Schick passed away on April 10, 2022, at the Huntsman Cancer Center.
Carolyn was born to Jane and Cecil Pearson on February 25, 1952. She graduated from
Skyline High School in 1971. She married her high school sweetheart Tim Turner in 1973. They were later divorced. In 1990 she married Ron Schick. They were later divorced.
Carolyn was a licensed cosmetologist and used these skills on and off throughout her life. She also worked for the Utah State Liquor Stores for many years, several as a store manager.
Like her mom, Carolyn loved Christmas and selecting and giving gifts to those she loved. Not having any children of her own she spoiled her great-nieces and nephews, much to their delight.
Carolyn is survived by her sister Kathy Mabey, her brother David Pearson (Chris), her nieces Kerry, Marcy, Suzie, Jayne, Laurie, and Dawny, and her nephews Dale, Jeff, and Mike. She was proceeded in death by her parents, her brother Jerry, her brother-in-law John, and her nephew Steven.
Friends and family are invited to celebrate Carolyn’s life at a bbq in Millcreek Canyon on June 4th. If you would like to attend, please call or text Kerry at (801)971-4291 for further information.
