Catherine Moss

Catherine Moss left this earth unexpectedly on May 31, 2017. She was the daughter of Carl and Chelane Meek. Catherine arrived in this world, much to her parent's joy, in Salt Lake City on April 26, 1979.

Catherine had a spirit of adventure and always wanted to try anything and everything. She loved anything outdoors – hiking, camping, boating, snowboarding.  She loved to learn and was really good at figuring out how to fix things. She had a contagious laugh and an amazing ability to make everyone feel included. She could quickly blend into just about any setting. She was very creative.

Catherine has been referred to as "the girl with the golden hair" (ABBA). She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She loved her Heavenly Father and has a strong testimony of her Savior Jesus Christ. Kinder Morgan (8) and Jance Dane (5), (her children) adored her through thick and thin and she adored them.

She had a near photographic memory which served her well in pursuing her education, especially in learning pharmaceuticals. She worked very hard to receive her Associates RN from Eaglegate College and was pursuing her Bachelor's and possibly Doctorate in Nursing. The staff at St. Marks calls her the "sunshine" of the PCU.

Catherine is survived by her two loves (children), Kinder Morgan Moss and Jance Dane Moss.  Her parents, Carl and Chelane Meek, Her sibling, Christine (Brandon) Pearson and their children. Her grandmother Dorothy J Scherbel, grandmother Lucy L Meek. Uncles, aunts and cousins. Preceded in death by her grandfather, Gordon H Scherbel, grandfather Dr Richard B Meek and uncle Earl L Meek.

A viewing will be held Thursday June 8, 2017 from 6-8pm at Russon Brothers Mortuary, 295 N Main in Bountiful. Funeral services will be held Friday June 9, 2017 at 11:00am in the North Canyon 2nd Ward, 3350 S 100 E, Bountiful Utah with a viewing at 9:15 – 10:30am. Obsequies (interment) will be in Riverdale Idaho.
