Her parents migrated to the United States, and the family landed in Miami, Florida exactly on her fourteenth birthday, November, 28 1956, after a three day flight using the propeller airplanes of that time.

The family relocated to Los Angeles, California where she graduated from University High School in 1960. She met her future husband J. Ronald Thompson at UCLA when she was a first year student. They were married August 4, 1962, in Brentwood, California. She subsequently earn her Bachelor’s degree majoring in Foreign Languages in 1969, and graduated Cum Laude.

They purchased their first home in Cypress, California, and subsequently lived in the San Francisco Bay area, Dallas, Texas, Portland Oregon, and finally in Centerville, Utah She enjoyed all the places her family lived, as she was an active LDS member, and made friends at each place they lived,

She will be greatly missed by her friends and family.
