Cecilia Patricia Blas

Cecilia Patricia Blas left this earthly realm on December 30, 2020 unexpectedly from a cerebral hemorrhage. She was a heart transplant recipient who endured many health battles throughout her life. She was 51 years old.

It would be wrong to say that Cecilia lost her battle because she never stopped fighting. No matter how sick she was, she was always determined. When anyone else would have broken, Cecilia stayed strong. Through her, we know what resilience and perseverance truly look like. There was no quit in Cecilia. Just because she is no longer here, it doesn’t mean she lost her fight.

“Fue toda una guerrera!” She was a true Warrior.

Cecilia is also known as “Cece or Paty” was a kid at heart, who loved music and enjoyed dancing with her Zumba crew! She was loved by many and was like a second mom to many. She was always checking up on everyone. She was caring and understanding and we will miss her beautiful smile.

Cecilia is survived by her husband Aurelio Blas, their sons Carlos Blas, Daniel Blas, and daughter Katherine Blas. All her adoptive kids, family and friends.

They invite you to join them for memorial services at 11:00 a.m., Friday, January 8, 2021 at Russon Mortuary, 295 North Main, Bountiful, where a viewing will be held Thursday evening from 6:00 – 8:00 pm and Friday morning, January 8, 2021 from 9:30-10:30 am prior to services. All are welcome.

Burial services are scheduled Tuesday January 12, 2021 at Salt Lake City Cemetery for anyone wanting to join us on saying goodbye. Thank you.
