Our Loving Wife, Mother, Sister, Grandmother, Great Grand Mother, Aunt and Friend passed away peacefully June 7, 2017 in Bountiful, Utah after a long valiant struggle with her health. She was surrounded by her eternal sweetheart of 56 years and loving family members.  Born July 24, 1942 in Murray, Utah to James (Jim) and Faye Boothe. She entered this world ahead of schedule with an unwavering will to live of which she has demonstrated on many occasions throughout her life. She married the love of her life Byron (Kent) Nye on January 19, 1962. Later solemnized in the Logan Temple on July 16, 1968.
Her love for life always included those she loved most. Together with her sweetheart they instilled in their family a love of the outdoors fishing, hunting and boating at Bear Lake.  Creating those cherished family memories that will last a lifetime. Soccer became her passion especially REAL SALT LAKE. She enjoyed watching and attending the games with her sweetheart and family. A little stubborn in nature she vocally cheered, coached and called the game like no one else ever could.
She was an active member of the LDS church. She faithfully served her heavenly Father.  She touched many lives by sharing her talent on the piano and her love of music and the gospel.  Her most beloved and cherished calling was time spent serving in the St. George temple with her eternal companion.
