Charles (Cal) passed away peacefully at his home on March 17, 2016.
Born in Salt Lake City, Utah to Delta Reynolds Fisher and Charles Eugene Fisher.
Married Joyce Elaine Parker in 1960.
He was very athletic in his youth and remained an avid sports fan his entire life.
He began working as a teen at the Kennecott Copper mine and learned many valuable skills that would support his many hobbies and interests throughout his life.
During the Korean conflict he served in the U.S. Air Force 130th ACW.
Upon returning home he continued his career as a machinist. He worked at Hill Air Force Base and the U.S. Bureau of Mines research facility at the University of Utah.
He loved the outdoors and spent every minute he could at their cabin or at their trailer at Bear Lake.
He and Joyce passed their love of the outdoors and travel down to their children and grandchildren.
He was preceded in death a short time ago by his wife of 55 years Joyce. He is survived by his son Colin Fisher and daughter Kimberlee Fisher and four grandchildren; Warde Naegle (Amanda), Stefan Naegle, Tad Naegle (Linsey) and Lesleeann Naegle.
A small memorial service will be held at the Utah Veterans Memorial Cemetery next to Camp Williams on Friday March 25 at 2 pm.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that a donation in Charles and Joyce's name be made to Hospice for Utah for all of the wonderful loving help and support they provided in both of their final days.
