Charles Kleinman

September 10, 1931 — February 14, 2011

Charles Lee Kleinman of Bountiful, Utah, age 79, passed away on Monday, February 14, 2011, after a valiant struggle with congestive heart failure. Born in Mesa, Arizona, on September 10, 1931, to D.C. & Ellen Jane Kleinman. He graduated from Tooele High School and Utah State University . He served a mission for the LDS Church in Ontario, Canada. He served his country in Korea. He met Mom at Utah State University, and they were married in the Logan Temple on May 27, 1954. They enjoyed 56 years of great happiness together. His passions were the Gospel, his family, and the many friendships he developed over the years. Charles was preceded in death by his parents, his siblings, and his daughter, Diane Chaston. Survived by his wife, Josephine Kent Kleinman; four children: Joan (Jim) Taylor, Laura (Kevin) Samuelson, Steve (Lariann) Kleinman, Dave (Kathy) Kleinman, Gary & Lisa Chaston; 20 grandchildren; 12 great- grandchildren; and brothers and sisters-in-law. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, February 18, 2011 at the Bountiful 12th Ward Chapel, 1475 North 300 West, Bountiful. Friends and family may call Thursday evening from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Russon Brothers Bountiful Mortuary, 295 North Main, and Friday morning 9:45-10:45 a.m. at the church prior to services. Interment-Bountiful City Cemetery.
