Charles Reed Bangerter

C. Reed Bangerter, 74, of West Bountiful, passed away on February 17, 2017
Reed was born on April 23rd, 1942 in Salt Lake City to Charles White Bangerter and Fern Elda Wright.  He graduated from Bountiful High School in 1960.  Reed married his high school sweetheart Sharon on August 3rd, 1962 in the Logan Temple.
He worked as a brick mason for 47 years and proudly co-owned R&P Masonry with his brother, Phil.  He loved golfing, bowling, camping and spending time with his family.  
Reed is survived by his wife, Sharon Moon, his children Laurie (Blake) Cloward, Sheri Bangerter, Kimberly (Rodney) Bennett, Cathryn Bangerter, Reed (Sandra) Bangerter and Melinda (Tyler) Gledhill.  He is also survived by his siblings, Phil (Diane) Bangerter, Connie Bangerter,  Bonnie (John) Tibolla, Alan (Diane) Bangerter, 15 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.  Reed was proceeded in death by his parents and his brother, Hal Bangerter.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, February 22nd, at the West Bountiful 2nd Ward building, 840 N 800 W, West Bountiful, UT.  A viewing will be held Tuesday evening, February 21st from 6:30 pm – 8:00 pm at the Russon Brothers Mortuary, 295 North Main, Bountiful, and Wednesday morning 9:45 to 10:45 am at the church prior to services.  Interment-Lakeview Memorial Cemetery.
