Charlotte Buchanan

Charlotte Buchanan, known as Charlie by family and friends, graciously passed away on April 18th, 2014. We announce this with great sadness as Charlie was a loving mother, sister,grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend but find peace in knowing she is with her loving husband Ron Buchanan and her two sons Christopher K O’Brien and Gary Scott O’Brien. She has been waiting to see them for many years and we know they have all been looking forward to seeing her.
We especially know that Ron will rejoice in greeting his “Little Dove”.
Charlotte is preceded in death by her mother, Alice May Fagg Sisam, father, William Archie Brammer, her step-fathers, Bill Sisam and Ted Corey, both of her sons, Christopher K O’Brien and Gary Scott O’Brien and her brother in-law Clarence Kelly. She is survived by her two brothers, Kenneth (Jean) Corey and Keith (Wendy) Corey, her two sisters, Annette (Clarence) Kelly, and Adel Corey; step-children: John (Maria) Vincent, Kay Hill (Kenneth), Terri Melhoff (Travis); and many grandchildren, great-grandchidlren and her loving daughter, Cindy Reynolds. Cindy was very grateful to be able to care for her mother and loved being able to spend her last days with her. Cindy is fulfilling Charlotte’s wish and will not be holding a funeral service but has prepared the following letter as a peaceful goodbye:
“Dear Mom,
Saying goodbye is the toughest thing I have ever had to do. I hope you left knowing I am so grateful for you, and proud to have you as my mother. Our journey here on earth was cut much to short and I will miss you everyday with all my heart but know I will see you again when my time here is done and find peace in knowing you are having a glorious reunion with your loving husband and sons. I love you so much!
