Cherylin (Chay) Terry

November 15, 1959 ~ February 4, 2015

Cherylin (Chay) Terry passed away peacefully in her home Wednesday, February 4, 2015.  She suffered for many years with terrible pain and is now pain free and in the arms of her mother, Norma Terry.

As many of you know, Chay was loved by everyone that knew her.  Her passion was children and service to others.  She taught swimming for many years that included teaching many handicap, young and old the joy of swimming. She took it upon herself to care for our elderly neighbors, her sisters, her father and anyone else in need. 

Chay was not only our sister but the big sister to all our friends!  Growing up she spent her time playing softball, coaching softball, swimming, coaching the girls in church sports and going to girl’s camp.

She was the greatest example of compassion and selflessness. Chay will be greatly missed by everyone she came in contact with.

She is survived by her father, Nolan Lynn Terry, her sisters Vicki Lin Ellis, Leslee Ann Green, Heather Dennis, nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews (because they are great!)

A Graveside service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, February 7, 2015 at the Lakeview Memorial Cemetery, 1640 E Lakeview Dr. Bountiful, Utah. There will be a viewing for friends and family prior to the service at Russon Brothers Mortuary, 295 North Main, Bountiful, from 1:30-2:30 p.m.  Online guestbook at www.russonmortuary.com
