On August 24, 2016 we lost our daughter, sister, aunt, wife, stepmother, friend.
Chitose M. Johnson, affectionately known by Chico, was born in Japan on June 28, 1941 to Fukuji and Matsuno Matsuo.
She was the youngest of nine children, five brothers and three sisters. Because of her love for her husband, Donald J. Johnson, she opened her heart to his four children. Chico had many talents she shared to those close to her. Her grace and kindness, and above all, her concern for those she loved will be missed. She loved her pugs. They were her "kids" Daisuke and Chibi and their "cousins" Mochi and Kibby. They brought her joy and love.
Survived by Jim (Brandie) Johnson, Dave (Robyn – deceased) Johnson, Renae (Brett) Meacham, Robin (Jeff) Lyman, and their families. Preceded in death by her husband, parents, and her brothers and sisters. The family will have a private gathering to celebrate Chico's life.
