Christie K Swenson

Christie Kay Swenson was born March 31, 1945, in Salt Lake City, Utah to Weymouth William and Margaret Corless Anderson. She passed away at her home on November 11, 2021. Christie was a positive and cheerful influence for her family, friends, neighbors, and coworkers. She was especially close to her daughter, Ancherie. Christie and Ancherie spent the last 53 years encouraging, supporting, laughing, loving, traveling, gardening, dancing, and enjoying each other’s company in their many adventures together. Christie had successful careers with Mountain Bell Telephone Company and the University of Utah Hospital coding department. Her employers loved having her skills, loyalty, intelligence, and positive attitude in the workplace. A happy takeaway from her work are the friendships that lasted her entire life. Christie is survived by Ancherie, sisters Sue Anderson and Michael (Sam) Ungricht, brothers Weymouth (Jill) Anderson, Barry (Becky) Anderson, numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, friends, and her best friend of 60 years and partner in crime, Patti Jones.
A celebration of her life will be held at Russon Mortuary, 295 North Main, Bountiful, Utah on Monday, November 15, 2021 where friends and family can gather from 11:00 to 11:45 a.m. Interment will be at Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park, 3401 South Highland Drive, Millcreek, Utah.
