Christine Kelly Wrae Dick

June 1, 1963 — April 7, 2018

Our loving daughter, sister, aunt, friend, and “baby sitter that never left” passed away on April 7th, 2018. Even through her challenging health issues, she reached out and served others. Known to family and friends as Christine and Kelly, she grew up in Valencia California graduating from Saugus High School. She received her Bachelor Degree in Social Work from Weber State University.  After serving as an LDS missionary in the “Great” Montana Billings Mission she attended the University of Utah where she received her Masters Degree in Social Work.

Christine served her community as a social worker to many youth.  She was Executive Director for the Pioneer Boys Ranch and recently worked as a Clinical Social Worker with DCFS.  She cherished her opportunities to serve others both professionally and personally helping loved ones in her life, serving in church callings and always open to assist strangers in need. Christine dearly loved her opportunity to be foster mom!

There was no end to Christine’s hobbies and passions. She was a very talented photographer, singer, guitarist and flutist. Growing up, Christine was a swimmer and member of the Tall Flags Marching Team at her high school.  On a fun note, Christmas was her favorite holiday complete with every Grinch decoration imaginable and she loved hosting “Grinchmas” parties.

Christine is survived by her mother and father, Sandra and William Dick, her Brother Bill Anthony, his wife Norma Anthony and their children Evan, Connor and Preston, along with many loving Aunts, Uncles and cousins. She is also claimed by her “Utah family”, the Woods, as aunt, sister, and best friend.

Please join us in honoring Christine and her life at a viewing at Russon Brothers Mortuary located at 1941 North Main Street, Farmington Utah from 9:30 -11:30am on Saturday the 14th of April. There will be a graveside service held at 12:00pm that same day at Lakeview Cemetery located at 1640 Lakeview Drive in Bountiful Utah.
