Christine Wells

Christine Bott Wells, 68, of Bountiful, Utah died December 28th after battling brain cancer.  Christine was born, September 28, 1950, in Brigham City, Utah, to Lorenzo Max Bott and Ruth Marie Christensen. She impacted hundreds of students as an elementary school teacher, teaching a total of 21 years before she retired in 2012.  She taught kindergarten and 1st grade in the Granite and Davis School Districts.

Christine married Richard Keith Wells, February 12, 1982.  Christine was a wonderful mother and homemaker. She is survived by her three children, Richard (Megan) Wells, Maren (Joseph) Muhlestein and Thomas (Jessica) Wells. Her greatest joy was her 10 grandchildren.

She was a devoted member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.  With her husband, she served as a Church Service missionary in the Utah Salt Lake City Headquarters Mission from 2013 until her passing.  She trained missionaries how to use FamilySearch and developed a great love for family history.

In lieu of flowers, please add a picture or story about an ancestor to FamilySearch.  A viewing will be held at Russon Mortuary, 295 N. Main, Bountiful on Sunday, Dec. 30 from 6 to 8 pm.  Funeral Services will be held at 11 on Dec. 31 at the Sterling Heights Ward, 165 W. Monarch Dr., Bountiful with a viewing starting at 9:45 prior to funeral services.  Interment at Brigham City Cemetery.
