Born 52 years ago in SLC. Son of Gary K OBrien and Charlotte M Buchanan. Above is a handsome man sitting in his hat enjoying the presence of his family. This man who fought to the end is a musician, an artist, and a man who loved the world. He started working in the glass business with his father at OBrien Glass when he was 12 years old and started DECO mirror and glass 21 years ago. He is a man that will leave a legacy. His signature is in every creative glass piece he has left with his family, friends, and clients. He said he was not perfect but to many he was and often he showed those around him that he loved them thru his music. Kris also loved Marilyn Monroe, The Doors, the Beatles, The Who, Rolling Stones, Bob Dylan, Old movies, and Mystery Theater. He enjoyed singing, playing the guitar, golfing, skiing, and jumping from the top of the highest cliff. We will miss this man who will be remembered wearing his hat, sipping a beer, watching football, making clocks from glass, jamming with his band, making jokes and living life the best he could. CKOB is survived by his four children who he was very proud of, Kristy Lotte, Brandee C., Josh, and Jessyca Brown . His 3 grandaughters, 4 grandsons, his wonderful parents Gary K (Lois) OBrien and Charlotte M. Buchanan, his sister Cindy Reynolds, Step Sister Kim (Russ) Smith, Step brothers Greg (Janene) and Paul (Susan) LeMmon, and his nieces and nephews. He was met in heaven by his brother G. Scott, his step-sister Susan LeMmon Hill, his step-father Ron J Buchanan, his ex sister in law Marrie Stam, his beloved guinea pig Harry, and others. He had a big heart and always worked to just have love and peace on earth. Christmas Merry CKOB we love you. A special thanks to Angel and David who saw him to the end and to all his family and friends who are not mentioned but not forgotten. He would be so proud. Graveside services will be held @ Lakeview Memorial Estates 1640 E Lakeview Dr. Bountiful at 1 PM Saturday November 12, 2011.
