Cindy Post

January 14, 1959 — January 10, 2018

Cindy Jeppson Post, age 58, passed away peacefully in her sleep January 10, 2018.  Cindy was born January 14, 1959 in Pocatello, Idaho. She was the youngest daughter of Nilo C. Jeppson and Verla H. Moss Jeppson.

Cindy graduated from Greeley Central High School in Greeley, Colorado and attended Ricks College in Rexburg, Idaho before moving to Salt Lake City, Utah.  She married John Burch on November 13, 1981 and then welcomed her only child, a boy. John and Cindy were later divorced and a few years later she found companionship and married Thomas Richard Post on October 27, 2006.

Cindy was dedicated to her family and career.  She started working on the production line for Southland Foods in 1981 and worked in various capacities throughout her 36 year career. She scaled the business ladder and finished as the Accounting Manager.  Cindy acquired extensive knowledge throughout her various roles and was an asset to the company.  Many relied on her expertise.

Cindy enjoyed life by surrounding herself with the people she loved. Spending time with her family was a priority.  Her gentle nature, thoughtful sense of humor and deep wisdom served many of them. Cindy was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and was called to be a Primary teacher. Watching her Primary children learn was rewarding. She held this role throughout much of her life, and because of this, was able to touch many lives.

Cindy is survived by her husband, Thomas Post; son, Bryan (Stephanie) Burch; two grandchildren (Chelsea and Ryan Burch); sister Betty Jeppson; brothers, Lee (Cathy) Jeppson and Alan (Cheryl) Jeppson; as well as many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, Nilo and Verla Jeppson.

Family, friends, co-workers and anyone whose life she touched are invited to attend her memorial services. A viewing will be at the Russon Brothers Mortuary, 1941 North Main St, Farmington, Utah from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Thursday, January 18, 2018.

An additional viewing will be held at the Orchard 4th Ward Chapel, 55 E 350 N, North Salt Lake, Utah from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM on January 19, 2018.  The funeral service to follow at 11:00 AM.  Interment at the Farmington City Cemetery after the funeral service.
